Cross, Dennis E.
lost his life at 7:00 pm Friday, September 11, 2009 in a tragic motorcycle accident on Baseline Rd. and the I-10 in Tempe. His wife was also involved in the accident and is in critical condition but is expected to make a full recovery. He was born in Lincoln Park, Michigan on March 17, 1955, the youngest of 12 children. He and his soul mate Debra L. Cross married in 1977 and moved to Arizona in 1978. He owned and operated, along with his sons, Dennis Cross Concrete Pumping for 28 years. Dennis had the respect and friendship of so many. He never knew a stranger. His sense of humor and generosity was legend. He is survived by his children, Heidi, Kenny, Craig and loving wife Debbie, and a large family of brothers, sisters, nieces, nephews, and friends. They say it takes a village to raise one man; this one man raised a village. He will be sorely missed in his community. The family appreciates all the prayers and support they've received. A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers please make any donations to a memorial fund for the Cross family at Canyon State Credit Union (937 E.
