Yep you are right, gives mike the hose, than turns the pump way up. what a shame.

I saw that show. They told him to hold the hose like that. I would think it would be a bit rough on the nuts after a while? I think I will e -mail him ( The Show) and give him some smack for making us look bad.

Well that is hollywood i guess. They just wanted a show. They should of contacted bob the safety guy for some help.

Very Bad Way to Show how to Pump, I personally would fire every one involved , Due to Liability factors ..

Not to Mention how Stupid it makes all Pumpers Look !!!!

Vasa, I've seen another episode that was also related to concrete, I do beleive it was shot at the same time.  It was about concrete stamping.  The structure in that show looked the same, so I'd think it was coloured concrete.

That was the second show with a pump.I guess in hollywood that is a comedy.I just somehow can't imagine how the Gen and pump operator could allow such basic vilolations happen.The only blessing is nobody actually got hurt.

i saw that episode. the first glaring mistake was the double ended hose on the tip. the obvious rookie on the hose. i see why they had him do it, it is the idea of the show. but for f---ks sake, i would fire that operator for the double ender alone. also he should be sitting because it was obvious he was jerking the boom to get it to whip like that. and of course full throttle with a high volume. it's fun being a safe operator out of work when some of the most dangerous people out there work everyday.
