You'd be better off not cleaning it at all than using acid on it. |

I was always told that a dirty pump is a busy pump. No time to clean it and keep pushing. lol |

where do you find parts to keep the dirty pumps running? |
||
Clive | 09-01-2011 | reply profile send pm notify |
They are just like old Fords you just have to to go down to Wal-mart and go to the concrete pump aisle, if thats no good l just go to local museum and steel the parts l need. |

Believe or not, i use to work as a mixdriver for a company (many years ago) who grown alot - and i get a brand new mixtruck and the owner buy at least 3 brandnew pumps/year.... But after a couple of year... There where pumps only 2 year old, and they looked like scrap because the boss were more engaged in the hard liquor than the company. Believe me, i have seen 1 year old pump in much worse condition. The only guy who worked for him was alcoholic and snorting people - and me......Thats why i started my own pumpcompany and compete to that alcoholic-company....My former boss went to bankrupt, sorry for him....not, asshole! He wasn´t nice to he´s emploees. That´s why i´m a prototype to my employees - that the boss eat moste shit! I do the Chip Foose style. And believe me - he is right in his way to treat emploees: the boss eat moste shit! Then the employees forget that the boss earns 10-times than they earn - but they do they work whithout nagg. |

I don't intend this to be rude,a dirty pump means a lazy operator.There are tarps,plastic,old burlap sack and many more tricks to stay clean.Sorry |
