why is it so hard for companies to put a cost price next to the product they are selling? i mean i half to the extent of contacting a sales rep in some other state at certain times when all i want to know is how much does the average wireless remote set up cost for a line pump.
i want to get one and if they arent to far out of my league i was considering approaching my boss and telling him id throw in few bucks on one if they would get me one. id like to have the options of forward/reverse as well as volume level and throttle up or down. something like the pumpboss II. but they dont put a price on the product.
can anyone help me or direct me to where i can get a wireless remote set up for good price? |

I have seen them for just a simple on and off switch for $500.00 all the way up to $1500.00. I dont know Don but Cusak can be a tight wad when it comes to some things |

wireless kits are pretty pricey though. our company bought a pump boss for our olin pump the boss said it was about $3000 the pump boss II i could emagine it being alot more just because its more advanced then the original. luckly our other 2 pumps came with the wireless remotes on them. as for as the throtle and volume if your pump isnt equiped with electronic throttle and volume controll you would need to fab up or order seprate kits to make them operate by remote. trust me the forward and reverse is good enough to have. you know there is a down side though having the wireless remotes. the boss noticed that jobs where being done alot quicker. i started noticeing getting jobs with times between jobs are tight or even doing 3 jobs a day. |

radios have been used for fifteen years it is a saftey device. guys like mcnair do not hook up their line, walk it to prime yep he does not run the line, just watches the pressure gauge. you might as well be a boom operater licking the power line. you will not get a second job here on a hard wire. go wash your pump and think about it. |

The Pump Boss remote with 4 functions, on/off, reverse, fast/slow are near the same price as the two stage or single stage. The extra cost for 4 stage is in the lineal actuator needed for the fast/slow function. Try George Clingerman @ Transcrete America 323.662.9615, he will sell you a kit for between $ 1,500 and $ 1,800 for a Pump Boss\'s latest model. |

Ijust spoke to Chris at Omnex here in BC and for what you want on my line pump (Schwing) is $1860.00. He did say that Schwing has a plug and pump version that they cant sell, the one I am looking at would need to be hard wired. Try the maker of your pump to see if they have the easy version. If you want their number just ask. |

Paid $1,200 for my Remtron Pump Boss II remote 11-06 Taxes and all. Vendor asked me what machine I wanted it on, I told them and in 2 days at my door was my remote... all wired for my machine, super easy to install and not one problem yet. |

What kind of range do you get with your pump bosses. I think they clam 1000 ft line of site and less through walls. I do not think the one I have has ever worked that good. I am down to about 60 ft through one block wall. |
