I consider it a compliment that many people seem to think, I at 72 years of age on May 20th 2014, have some strange desire to get back in the pumping business.
I am not involved either physically or financially with ACI and Matt Kaminsky.
I am not involved either physically or financially with Jim Coons and Jeff Davis in any form of the pumping business.
I also want to make it clear to all concerned that I am not involved in any manner with John Magee in the sale of new Concord equipment.
I am and have been a Schwing dealer since 1978. I will probably retire at some time in the near future from being a Schwing dealer and they have granted me the choice as to when that will be. I would like to thank Schwing America for 36 years of support both as a Concrete Pumping company and as a dealer for Schwing. I have been treated with respect and I believe I have helped them and they have helped me to be successful beyond my wildest dreams.
I have seen many changes at Schwing in those 36 years and I liked some and I did not like some.
However I have always said the only constant in life is change. 
It is inevitable and it will happen no matter how much you fight it.
I like any older citizen feel like I came up with the best of times. It was a blast being involved in the creation of an industry that was championed by several Mom and Pop shops with people that worked longer and harder then most people could believe. It all paid off and now a new bunch is on the horizon. I hope they are willing to keep up the level of work that is necessary to keep this juggernaut rolling. No one questions if you can pump the concrete in this day and age. No one is afraid to pump 1000' up and 3,000' out. The owners are not constantly having to calm down the customers and assuring them it will get better. Todd has always said he loves the Concrete Pumping Industry. It is a lot like any activity that creates high moments of stress. The men are soon separated from the boys and the ones that are paying attention soon get to a point where they have a business. There develops a bond for those of us that choose this life and it stays with us fo rever. I hope this clears up any confusion that there might be in the rumor mills of the industry.

I've had the pleasure of knowing this man since the start of my career, if you ever have a chance to meet/talk to him, just listen, you will learn how and what things have come to be in this industry!! I'm in my 15th year and everytime I talk with him (which is on a normal basis), I learn something new!

I could say a lot of thing about Ed. But he kept me busy when I was starting out as a kid.
