Pumping a flow fill mix on the high side, trailer pump, bent the throttle plates.Had a 36m trying to pump an elevated deck, the hatchet was worn out.Plugged into deck with smaller pump to do job.

Oh Joy

Marcus

I missed all the in loop stuff when they stopped producing the pump. What was the history then, only fleeting memories.

go to www.kinzuacountry.com to see a video of an old 36 in action..I use it everyday..alot of people throw stones at it but it's all i know..put it against a 42 meter we bought at an auction off pumpco and put that putz in it's place I ended up doing the whole job..putz has some screwed up limit on the grate made it inoperable to an inexperienced operator..I can empty a 10 yd mixer in 6 min..4 inch slump..put the grate up i do 2.5 inch slump..no problem

8 inch cups reduced to 5 inch boom means success every time

Hey Stonezer, I worked for ELBA, North America back in the '80s. A real strong pump. and sturdy too. I traveled the country and showed people how to operate and keep them running. We were strong here in the States, then the German company that actually made the pump, (Scheele), went broke and ELBA only made batch plants, but sold the Scheele pump as an ELBA product. Now I play with Schwings and Putzes and prefer Schwing. On the west coast, Tim Oliver is probably your best go-to guy for ELBA stuff. Keep on pumping....

ELBA stuff can be found on the East Coast at : Parsons concrete equipment, or try Alex Wagner, or D&M Pumping, or Howard Pumping may still have some stuff.

Any question on how to rebuild or maintain ELBA's can be answered by me: victhulin@bellsouth.net

its an old pump, but if you watch the video you can see how good it pumps. You can see that the boom valves are Schwing and the outrigger valves are elbas, and they work properly.
