We are having a nice fall push this year. It seems like it has been a few years since it was like this. It is nice to pump every day and sometimes 3! It feels like the old days and a reminder of why we like to pump concrete. Hope all is as well as can be.

Here in Central Mo, we are the slowest we've ever been if not slower than that. Were not even starting a truck tomorrow. I hope it turns around sooner than later!

October is my busiest month, this year is no exception, actually even more. Come hunting season (Nov. 6-15) it shuts off then the snow and ground freeze comes in, and your done. Man, i just drove 350 miles yesterday came back today to pump 30 yards. Northern ND border Canada. they called yesterday at 2 said they needed a pump at 9 AM tomorrow Saturday. And to name my price. So I did, just got back.

Just looked over my sheets and I've been averaging 75 hours a week since july and the last month close to a 100 a week.

Just glad I have a week of now and then since things are getting more and more crazy...

100 a week? Is that safe? when do you sleep? Where are you located now Pump Noob??

Right now I'm up north, running a 31 meter pumi above 70 degrees north. Smile

Yeah, 100 hours a week, but that is just half the story.

We only have 3 trucks and small plant that uses 30 minutes to load an 8 cubic truck, and up north everything is far, far away.

So I usually sleep more in the cab of the pump at work waiting than I do in bed at night. Laughing

Right here http://olenbetong.no/ Tongue out

Now we are delivering a lot to the transformer station that will supply power to the Goliat field in the Barents sea,

so when that is up and running they will hopefully start the train 2 development on Melkøya, basicly doubling it's size and capacity in every way.

The building of the process plant on Melkøya wich processes gas from the Snøhvit field in the Barents sea took over 250.000 cubics to build...

So hopefully I get to stay up north for a looooong, looooong time.

Wich is good, since I love everything about northern Norway. Smile

Or else I may get transferred to Murmansk or some tunnel down south, I don't mind really, work is work, and every day is an adventure for me.

Cool. We will be pooring a transformation building next week in Samnanger.. It will be a gliding form. 7 days of non stop pooring. Only 6m3 an hour. And right underneed the main powerlines that provide Bergen from electr.. Powercompagnie is the customer and will be at scene for safety at all time.. Wonder how that's all gona work out..

Shame for you your not in Haugesund. We have a realy nice girl here driving concrete for Norbetong. She has taken a job for Ølen in haugesund and she might even be driving a pump!! She is realy cool and a good friend.. If you ever bump in to her be nice ;-)

It's about the same here where I am. Average 75hrs has been the norm since at least the middle of May. Doesn't look like its going to slow mush either once winter sets in. As long as temp stays mild I'll be busy.
