Farino Concrete Pumping recently purchased a REED C50S Concrete Pump. Working closely with Farino, the SO-CAL Speed Shop team of Jimmy Shine and Richie Noguiera invested over 700 hours of customizing techniques usually only seen in the automotive/hot rod arenas. See this creation at the World of Concrete Expo January 22 - 25 at the REED Booth - C6012.

I work for Farino and the truck that pulls this thing is even more ridiculous than this.We basically dropped the pump off at So-Cal and said work your magic.Just so everyone knows the owners' idea behind this bling thing is that its a rolling advertisement and also we have chosen a tough profession so we might as well have fun while we're doing it.

P-10

Does the operator plan to "tarp" the machine when in operation or do you have some radical custom covers for it?

Man, I would hate to try and keep that baby clean. I noticed that the louvers on the doors are open to the rear. Looks like 10,000 little slots for the crete monster to live in.

Bob we have T.A. pumps that have custom covers for them but we haven't made covers for the reeds yet, they do shotcrete 90% of the time so there isn't alot of splashing plus the pumpers are paid well so it is expected of them to keep their rigs clean.Good question though to be honest we're not sure what to do with this one yet because of the "uniqueness".Speedy I was scared ofyour reaction considering your response in the past over shiny pumps,I don't have a picture of the truck that will pull it but we have three other ones that are similiar but aren't as over the top let's just say it should be pulling an off shore boat.Crew cab Pete with interior done by schwabe as with the pump they were given instructions to go where no interior has gone before, cue star trek theme. Our pete salesman who has delivered our other big rigs(truck n pups, transfers, mixers, and powder trains) said he hasnt seen anything like it before all I can say is hopefully Todd can get some pictures of it to do some justice. Now if we could only find the right guy to run this whole contraption.......any takers????
