apparantly the 2 guys who fell with the floor went to hospital. 1 guy had back pain problems and the other two broken ankles?

your best of asking steve aka (GREEDY) he was right there next to the boys when it happend. he'l giv you all the details. but the client (fitzpatrick) trying to say that they were placing too much weight of concrete on the floor. nothing to do with them not propping it underneath and not stud welding the floor then!! weve done a few of the mezz flooring there and on the 1st floor you can see it bowed in the middle with the weight of concrete. not 1 floor we done there was propped. accident waiting to happen.!!! luckily no-one was seriously injured!

kind of sounds like osha might want to check their site,if their not properly bracing their probably alot of other problems onsite be careful if you see something wrong and dont say anything now who's become a part of the problem with safety. If I see a deck I know is not braced properly not only am I not going up there I'm going to inform everyone of the danger and if everyone agrees to do it then I make my decision if I want to put myself and my coworkers at that risk, after my experiences I would say no!

Yea righty, mate! The concrete weighed too much! Why don't contractors own up to their mistakes!
