I can see it now....A finisher stumble across this thing and goes DING!!! light goes on and what not....

IT IS ONLY UNSAFE, IF EVERYBODY IS NOT ON THE SAME PAGE. YOU CAN CATCH A PLUG. SOMETHING LIKE THAT YOU WONT BE PUM[PING FAST ANYWAY, TO WHERE YOU CANT CATCH IT IN TIME.

I don't see a problem with this if the operator is paying attention like he should and the hose man and him have good communication then whats the problem,  half the problems with accidents with metal ends is due people not paying attention to their jobs and acting like redi-mix drivers

hey raymond, blood red.

if all your doing is lookin at the end of the hose, you are not paying attention to the whole picture.  as good as an operator may think he is, there is alot to keep an eye on and i've only got two in my head and one in my pants.  the one in my pants only has night vision.  slow pumpin plug can be just as dangerous as full tilt plugs.

I used one of those some years ago when we did balconys so that they can stop the flow exactly at the right time....now I know better.
