We have a requirement to build 7.5m (wide) x 5m (thick) and 5m high reinforced concrete check dams in an underground coal mine .The workings are about 160mtr below the ground level and can be accessed by an 160m deep, 8 dia vertical borehole and about 50 to 100m horizontallyfrom there. Will it be possible to pump the concrete by keeping the pump above and pumping the concrete under negative head to 160m below ground level and then about 100m horizontally.If so what are the precautions we should take.
