I've used it.. Its realy crazy and amazing stuff... Looks like the concrete is alive :-)  It  can be difficult to pump yes. Its a long time ago that I've worked with it. I don't remember so well. Maybe Superdoffer knows more.

Glenium a very nice product. Remember me the first time it bite me as a rookie, pumped it whit system the harder I pumped the less concrete came out of the hose, and the placing crew jelling what are you doing.

And then the weakest point off the pump in this case a hydraulic hose blew up.

The point is it pumps like butter, till you pump to fast and then it bites you.

Glenium can cause the concrete to bleed out , waiting for a load is dodgey . Put a bit of a push on it and an easy pour will  end up with you lifting and tipping pipes, joy !

In my little exp I haven't pumped that stuff however I have pumped concrete with a grace product called super p this stuff makes concrete wet untell it stops moving then it acts like calcium, and if you stop pumping even for a little bit you got a problem on your hands. One time I tried to suck it back to unplug and all I got was cylinders of simi hard concrete lol. That was bad day

I pump glenium on a fairly regular basis.  Never have had to many problems, but it has some key characteristics that as the pump operator you must remember.  Glenium is a super plasticizer.  In other words it makes the concrete wet without adding water, however it has an operating time of 45 minutes.  After that, it has evaporated out of the load and is gone.  That means if you've got a base slump of 3, whipped to a 6 with glenium, it will be a 3 again vary shortly.  Not a product to screw around with if your contractor is not on the ball.  It's also been my experience that glenium with bleed backwards through the vertical sections of pipe when you're not pumping.  If you stop for more than five minutes, cycle once or twice and keep the mud moving so the glenium stays mixed up.

Ive pumped a crap load of that stuff and the main thing to remember is the pump can always tell the difference between a plactersized load and a regular load. Look at your pressures when you pump it and depending on the mixer company and what slump they add the juice at will make all the difference in the world. But remember if they put it in at a 2 or a 3 its still a 2 or 3 inch slump. The pump knows. Were I'm at they put it in at a 0 to 1 and let me tell you your window is small and you cant force it or bad things happen. When in doubt slow it down and sprinkle a little water in the hopper when you stop. It brings it back to life. Whats in your hopper is yours. By doing that will keep it cool and kinda wash your pipes and believe me they will hardly notice.

Yes.. Thats an easy one. They get a choise... Eighter I ad some water in the hopper and pump round a bit... Or I suck a ball and empty the hopper.

Of course only when its nessesary to ad some water. I'm not a difficult guy..

Glenium is a second-generation superplast and don’t work very long about 1 hour. And when it is worked out the crete goes back to the slump that it was made at whit out the super p. Overhear we are at the fifth generation superplast that last about 2.5 hour, if the crete isn’t placed by that time you are in deep shit.
