I know they been around for  age's and long ago ran their country but now whats the need for a King and Queen with your country going broke just like ours I don't understand please explain the need other than they have always been there?

 Tradition that's it. Old world. I'll bet you have been doing something your whole life, that people did 1000 years ago like wipe when your done. It dos'nt matter how much money you have' or how broke your country is you still have to do it, tradition.

Don't forget the Queen still has a Veto right when a new goverment get elected..  May not seem very important to us now... But it is kind of a safety to not end up with some hitler like president..

The Queen has nothing to say so she can't do any harm even if she wanted to.. But a new president/ goverment could not do any harm eighter as long as the Queen is around... Only way it could go wrong is if they where both in to it..

I think its a good system..   

About going broke. Howe much money is involved in the election of a president every four year
