ok, so here in northern Cali/northbay area, the average line pump is getting around $300 for 1 load. otherwise about 95 per hour and 5 bucks a yard from the start. including 1 way travel on a 3 hour minimum. now this is for a 5 sac 3/4 blend mix, pumping thru up to 200 feet of 2 1/2 inch system and around here the pumper runs the end hose or he dont ever get called back! what do you line pump guys charge in your areas? |

The rule of thumb is 4 X your 3/4 rock would equal the size of hose so if you are using 3/4 inch rock then your hose should be 3 inch hose, prices get all you can yesterday I was asked by another company to do a job for them 4 yards I was paid 550.00 bucks. |

well Biged the 1 inch minus blend mixes out here can go thru 2 1/2 inch hose like butter... with some 3/8 added at a 50/50 ratio like about 800lbs of each mixed with blended sand and some VMA additive we push it 500 ft no problem. the main problems we have here besides the frikin EPA is all the cut throat owner operators who go out for 75 an hour, they dont have to pay workmans comp or payroll tax so they can afford to cut prices, it is killing us small multiple pump companies. |
