Looking for an affordable gps unit that will give the drivers directions and also let me track them.  Small system for five pumps. Any advice?

What. Don't trust your operators.

I trust them. Just want to know location so if they are running behind I can let the workers know and/or see if another truck can get there quicker.

Just hooked up with Fleetmatics got it installed this past week. Inexpensive, painless no $$ upfront about $60/ mo/vehicle.

This just in : I heard a rumor today that someone had a pump stolen this morning in Tampa Bay area. They just had GPS installed and pulled it up on the sight. There it was driving down Alligator Alley ( probably going to the port). Called the cops and bingo got their pump back. Perps are doing time. Priceless!!

Please people what ever you do before you buy a system check ours out. Our GPS system intergrates with Carmin and Pump Magic. When the operator fills out the job ticket it automaticly fills out your job ticket in Pump Magic. This system was built and designed for the Concrete Pump industry and we do things like send you an email if your pump leaves the yard with out a job on the books or if it leaves a certain zone. If you buy anything eles you will end up dropping it, mark my words.

Give me a call for a free demo.
