The set-up was kinda weird do to the terrian on hand. The contractor made a 6'x6'x6' concrete block to put my left front outrigger on. Took a bit to get all the riggers lined up with the slopes. Primed out at 7am was washing out the pump at 830am. Was only 200 yrd on the 6th floor but it went great. wish i owend a digital cam to take pics it looked pretty cool. Pump was rock solid stable. 160 the first hr then it slowed down due to traffic. |

well bri maybe your dunnage was not set up right. I know Concord makes a stable pump. It should not be rocking. |

200 yards in 1.5 hour, that's awesome. Thats the kind of jobs I like. Did you have another job, or 3 other jobs. LOL |

The most fun Ive had blasting mud was at the wind farms. doing footings. You would show up crew show up inspector would give it the ok and take off then the crew would take off also. mud shows and I pump till there is no hole left to fill. We had our own batch plant on site and I would have sometimes as many as 10 trucks dedicated to just me. put er in 8th gear and go. 250 yards a piece and I could bang em out in about a hour and a half. the crew would show up to bowl float it about the time I was done and moving to another. |
