Hi folks, I'm an engineer looking for some free advice. I specced a gabion-lined stormwater channel with 1"-4" thick gravel layer under the gabions for leveling. High flows have washed out much of the gravel leaving the gabions hanging and possibly about to settle. Would it be possible to pump pea-gravel concrete under the gabions? A small-diameter (2") hose would be ideal to fit in the gap. The site is in SW New Mexico and the stream is intermittent so you'd be working in dry conditions. |

You came to the right spot. Give it some time and you will get some professional help. If you posted some contact information you would probably have a better response. |

Phil, No problem just pump either pumpable grout fill, loose slump self leveling. high cement and fly ash. With about 3000lb sand 550 cement and 200 lb fly ash per cubic yard. Or just a good quality pea rock mix. Ask your local RM plant I'm sure they could rec. a local line pumper. |
