What is the ocasion for your celebration? What is Canada day? I could google it, but I thought that one of you might tell me.

Canada Day is a day meant to give honor to the crown and also to celebrate Canada's sovereignty. AKA the queen of England. Although, she nor the UK have anything to do with the government of Canada, she is still a symbolic figure as the monarch which through the governor general presides over our parliament.

bob, this exactly what davetpg told!!  to make a story short!! its about the same than the 4th july..with some celebration at some place!!  but most of all like american its a quiet day in front of tv or making a nice bbq..........lolll
