Hey

Well this is my story and what do you do. I leave a great company in Ontario Canada to work for what I was told is  great company in Alberta. I left my job in Ontario to make a good living for my family or why move anyway here it is.

Lay out a ton of cash to relocate but have to maintain 2 residences for about 6 months.

So everything has doubled

The company you go too promises you the world but when you get there.....f...... you around re money and other things.

So do you take a 10 k loss to go back to a company that you worked at paid you more money but less hrs over all but treated you like gold or do you suck it up and hope the new company you have worked at for 3 days does not ... you again.

I am not bitter but I hate being mislead and lied too and given false promises... I am a safe operator a good operator I had a 2007 Putz Z boom in Ontario and in Alberta I have 2003 Putz z boom that looks like it has seen time over seas in the golf.

The only good thing here so far is yes the hrs are here for sure and even though the  pay rate is a bit lower you make it up and then some with lots of OT. The operators at this company and the supervisor are all great guys.....

What to do.... what to do

I would ask your wife and do what she says. Tons of reasons why i would do that but the short answere is if she feels strong one way just do that.

The grass is always greener, right?

NOT!

The difference is 1. Boom color &

2. You sold your seniority for chump change.

If the people you work for like you and treat you well… thank God, and just say NO to some other maybe deal.

Loyalty is a two way street.

I have been married for more than a few years and yes it is true that

"If she ain't happy - you ain't happy"

but if you are doing what is right and she still doesn't like it...... oops wrong woman ;~)

Seniority is key. You should stay where you feel the most opportunity for personal growth.

Well I am heading home and will take a huge loss $$$$$$ but it was not all bad I was taught some good tricks of the trade that I never knew before and I was lucky enough to meet two amazing operators..... With some time I will recover the $$$$$$ loss but knowledge of how to be a even better pump operator is Priceless and for that I am greatfull.
