I have been reading and posting on this site for a while and it is great. But why is it that posts about pumps turning over keep getting deleted? Well wait a minute, posts about a 65 meter turning over which we all know only p***co owns the only 65 meters, but yet a little while ago a post was allowed to stay on the board about a 58 meter turned over in Newport, Ky, Statewide Concrete Pumping was mentioned and even the job it happened on. I have not looked but as far as I know the post is still on there. I guess the big companies have alot of pull here or something. I think a pump turning over should be used as a learning experience for all us operators, but instead of letting it be the posts are shot down. I find it very funny that bashing somebody about a picture that they took of one of their job sites which you really know nothing about is considered a learning experience but it is taboo to talk about someones pump flipping over. I know it is embarassing for a company but why are posts of the little guys pump flipping over left on here for months but when one of the big guys pumps goes over it dissappears almost instantly? Does not sound to fair to me!!! pump down stories should be left on here as a learning experience Todd, I remember when there used to be a picture section for them, that really made me think about what i was doing when I was setting up my pump, we should learn by other peoples mistakes but we cannot if we are not even aloud to talk about them. If you guys want to bash some pictures, look at most of the calendars that come from your manufacturers and call them and bash them about the safety aspects of their pictures. Something needs to change guys because I know the way things are going alot of people dont even want to post on here, and wat is the point of a forum if you cant even post your thoughts and opinions? Guess our constitutional right of free speech does not apply here.....

In retrospect I would say a non biased report would be more in order.There is much diversity here and by name reports I would think judgemental.The old adage "Let me do one good thing and nobody knows,let me do one bad thing and everybody knows".

I completely agree, my only question is why was that post so quick to dissappear? If it was a rumor why was it not just posted as a reply that it was a rumor and there was no truth to it?

 You can never really look at a picture and completely understand what happened and why, I think the pump down pictures should be brought back, if a company is so embarassed about them then why not take the time to post a response and explain themselves and the situation, maybe then we could all learn from that operators mistake or idiocity....

Hey guys, I was out of town all weekend, brother got married. Anyway we try to keep rumors off this site especially if they can be hurtful. This rumor about the 65 was completely false and that is why it was taken down. Anyway that is what heard. Besides even if it was true this is not really the place for posting rumors and just because somebody once posted something and it was not deleted does not mean it should not have been deleted. I really want this site to be constructive and helpful, the pump down pictures while on one had was good, on the other hand it made allot of people mad and hurt people also. I really don’t want to cause harm to anyone.

One of the nice things about this site is that you can talk to anyone of the members at anytime but something’s should remain privet and its nice to leave the dirty laundry behind closed doors.

I would like to see the pics also but have to agree with Todd. This is not the place. I would not want my pump out for the world to see if I wrecked it! I think it may be tough to operate or evan be employeable after a boom down.

Well I did not know for sure but as far as I could tell it was just a bad rumor started by somebody who just wanted to start trouble so the best thing to do is delete it. That is why I hate it when somebody post crap on this message board just to hurt somebody. It's just not right and why I started to delete all such post.

Personally its agood idea to place some mishaps out there so as to make people think before they try something irresponsible.
