Two questions for you First, how steep of a hill (what % grade) does Putzmeister say you should be able to set up on without damaging the pumps. Sometimes when you face downhill you get a little cavitation until you get your front outriggers up high, so I was just curious if there was an official Putzmeister stance on this. Also, do you have a schematic for a 16 cell pump kit that you can put on the message board? The copy I keep in my car isn't there anymore, and I don't want to drive into the office on Sun. if I don't have to. |

I don't know if it matters or not, but I'm specifically referring to the units around 2000 that have the hydraulic tank with the 1/2" clear tube off the front of the turret for the sight gauge. |

Good morning Cp1
I will confirm the % of grade a unit can sit at and not cavitate the pumps It is quite a bit.
But this is just the drive in angle the unit will still need to be 3° or less for boom
If the oil is up to the correct gauge level it will let you go to quite an angle “say Driveway” and put the unit in gear without cavitating .
When you drive down angle the oil is in the front of the pedestal and the Large style filter can suck air if the oil is low.
Also E-Mail me your Ser # and I can send you your Hyd schematic. woodsa@putzam.com
You can call me to talk about it further 360 600 5695
