my schwing pump was used to fire water over the mechanical arachnid. it was a special project in liverpool for the 'capital of culture 08'. the spider walked around the city climbing walls etc as part of a street theatre. i will be posting some more pics soon. marko

Why didn't they plumb the water through the boom system? What was the deal with all of those hoses???

bob, they had its own water supply by linking a fire hose to the tip. we suggested pumping the water but they turned up there own gadget so there you go ,imagian pumping on full volume? if we did we wud caused some damage to that spider .
