I am still new to being a concrete pump operator, my father owns two schwing 32 meter pumps. I run the older of the two, a 1990. My pump has no horn. We installed an aftermarket remote box and i was wondering if anyone had any tips on installing a horn on the truck that will work with my aftermarket remote box. |

What type of remote box and reciever did you buy? yes you can hook up a horn. do you have the wiring diagram for the reciever, if not let me know and I will get you one. |

Recently I have done a couple jobs where it was impossible to hear the mixer barrel rev up or to hear the horn when the button is pressed by the mixer driver. To solve this problem our mech wired the button into the air horn on the Mack Truck. So much nicer now. When the mixer driver is done, has a problem, or whatever I can hear the horn. This probably isn't what you were looking for in your post but I thought I would pass it on if any operators can't hear the cheapo depot electric horn.

Can't hear the horn is right. You sure can hear the fan!!! Putz did it 100% right on the belt trucks, EVERYONE can hear that siren. |
