that type of job is my linepumpjob - i mean my cind of golden glamjob - i never have those nicegoodlooking jobs. with that type of concrete, i use to use 2"-hose or 1,5"-hose. Only to make it easyer for the costumer - smaller hose = less wheight to carry......up to 75 m (246 feet). More than that needs 2"-hose, for an acceptable pumpcapacity. Outside Stockholm area (Sweden) is a hosejob working in that way....but no way in the near or in the city of Stockholm... No concreteworker (exept for Sweden nowtime legaly lowpayed slaves from: Poland, Russia) carry an 3"-hose! An 2"-hose is nearly okay for a Swedish concreteworker with a little nagging about the heavy hosewheight. Even the young Swedish concreteworkers nag about the wheight to carry an 1,5"-hose! 

youmust be confused with your sizes.. 2'' is a ''fugeslange'' can only pump grout through those.. 1,5'' is super thin you'd use all day on a 40m3 slab..

If he is correct, I'm moving to Sweden to pump concrete. If they are complaining about 2" hose...I'll be in heaven.

I must defend ALMIMA , He did not mean anything bad about Polish or Russian workers . Some constructors use them as "slaves" in Sweden . Like some constructors use Mexicans in US as "slaves" ! And the Swedish young concreteworkers are spoiled with 2" hose or even 1.5" . If We have to use 4" because of the concrete all hell break lose.... I have 2.5" on My pump some 3" but it is always so heavy for the workers , I use to tell them to seek a job in a store or Office . If they shout to much I go home and they have to pay the minimum and the mud they have mixed from the rm plant . But when the boss hear this they use the 3" or 4" hose .

I always say if you have to complain complain to yor boss. I pump whit every hose you want if the concrete is ordered for that hose.

The guy behind pulling the hose is that Gerrit? He is the best I've ever known. I've arrived at jobs where I realy didn't know anymore how we would mannage and he just makes it look like a day on the beach..

Thats the gang... No job is to crazy for them.. If you ever want to poor 10.000 m2 inside in 1 day ... And you can get a factory to supply that kind of amounts then they will fix it for you..

My point wasn´t to nagg on our Swedish slaves, from Poland and Russia - they work wery well, indeed! My nagg was on our own lousy Swedish spoilt ungsters. They talk much about their training in the gym, and then when the hose whent filled of concrete...and i mean 1,5 inch-hose.. My wife nagg about the hoseweight when support me at late pouring - but she allways nagg anyway......on me. She loves me anyway...i wish

A Swedish concreteworker do realy nagg if he has to hold a 2 inch-hose on a pouring, the hose is to heavy for him, and that´s it!!! Then he use our Swedish healt-caringsysteme - "feel sorry and the government pay you anyway - you don´t have to work or do your job". That`s the Swedish way....

That´s for real how it works in Sweden! I´m the biggest idiot in the world, i run a company i Sweden - when i just have to relax and don´t work - the government pay all missing income. How stupid sounds that - but it´s no joke - it´s Sweden in a nutshell.

Scorpion concrete pumps are most economical equipment for pumping the concrete in individual projects.

It is very often to see a 47m boom concrete pump servicing only a 10-15 m. height just because of the position of the  pump being away from the placing point. In job sites it is not so easy for a 6x4 or 8x4 truck to get into the target point in rough terrain or muddy areas. In this case most of the boom length is used for reach not for placing.
