Hello everyone! My 3" discharge hose coupler is worn thin on the inside. Does anyone have experince with having a new end installed or do I skip that and buy a new hose. The rubber seems fine. it's a Con Form product. |

The un-safe factor is to high. Like i have been told so many times, and I quote," Don't do anything that will make you loose sleep at night"!!! |

BUY A NEW ONE! there's guys that try and fix'em like you would fix yer agua hose with a big ole ribbed insert and some big band-its. How long does a "Fixed" water hose last on a pump?..There's your answer. There should be no-such-thing as Disharge or Delivery hose repair!! Being cheap hurts poeple!! |

If you are sure that the rubber is OK , take a pressure test of the hose....Does some company testpress their hoses in USA ? Have ACPA some guideline for that ? The Swedish "CPA" working on guiedline for that , they talked about it on the last meeting I was at . And let a workshop ( we go to our hydraulicworkshop) that press new coupler on the hose , press a new one , not a screwclamp ! |
