Question:I have a 3 concrete pump hose which broke and spayed an operator passing by. There is no apparent cause of failure. The hose broke at a good section without wear, the cut is diagonal to the axial direction of the pumping, the cut is a sharp cut no sign of bursting, the pump Schwing 500 works fine, the hose broke in the middle section and the aggregate is light without indication of big material tearing the hose. The water-cement ratio does not appear to have had a problem. What could have made the hose tear like thru?
