A customer wants to know to calculate the depreciation of the Mack chassis?

He has 2008 and 2007, 2008 is an used one.

Any help would be nice.

That's a question for his accountant, not a general message board. Here you'll get opinions, not direct answers for his financials.

You would have to have mileages, service records, % of tires, and so on I would contact a Mack dealer surely they could help you out.

here is one for an engine: actual hrs./lifetime horus x average cost new

liftime hrs for engine is ~15,000hrs before it needs to be rebuild

reman Mack ASET engine is $22,000, at 7500 engine hrs you depreciate half the cost; you can probably apply this to the chassis as well

btw, airplanes depreciate, they appreciate!

Depreciation is just that. Do not know his schedule. CPA would be my best advise.
