That is not a one size fits all answer.I can take you to places you can prime the boom with almost nothing.I can take you to places it's so course you almost need a yard of grout to get throught the boom.

The correct answer

I just put it in the hopper 1/2 up the barrels and let the s tube mix it works gr8 every time

Buy your self a 50 lb bag of Bentonite for 10 bucks that will prime your pump about 15 time's charge 15.00 or more = 225.00 you cleared 210.00 add water stir and you are primed.

Never was taught how to prime with water..bentonite in the pour cost the contractor money to tear it out..just posted the video cause a while back there was a discussion about it..I'll keep using slick pak cause it always works..and water seems to rock me up.. one boom party is enough..we are here to teach others what we know..when we die if we stayed silent during life what are we worth?

thats alot of wasted concrete, just use water and you probably only waste a third of that

Obviously, I work for Fritz-Pak so I'm slightly biased.

However, I think all concrete pumps should be primed with Slick-Pak!

Thanks for the great video.  Looks fantastic!

In regards to those who thinks it's better to prime with water, I'd be more than happy to send you some bags of Slick-Pak I or II to try out.  And for whoever made this video, I'll give you a whole case.

Just email me at davidojeda@fritzpak.com your shipping info.  Or fill out a samples form on our website www.fritzpak.com
