Depends on location I guess. Up here to water-wash into a mixer will cost ya a fun ticket ($100) unless its late and "un-documented". RM trucks cant even wash-out on site unless its an eco-pan or pit lined with plastic. Being most RM companies here are on a water way or river they have a block yard away from the plant. If they cant pour blocks with it they will delvo it sometimes OVER NIGHT! I've heard of trucks being parked with up to a yard in them. A tell tale sign is a hand written ticket with no compliance sheet first job in the morning!

Pssst. Tell'em the computer's down...

i wash back 80 % because they think that blowing on the ground is my mess and iam going to hang out to load it on my truck and haul it away. would you belive that i have to yell at everyone to get them to help me drag the line back to the truck. do you know that they will grab the water out of my hopper to wash off a board or thier boots in the street and i have to tell them that they can wait for the two of us that are on the hundred buck an hour program.

Like I said "Depends on where". In Washington State an "enviromentaly-sensitive job" is anything with-in a mile of any river, stream, creek, pond, lake or water way. This pretty much covers 92 % of the state. Many, many times I,ve primed out into the barrel I carry for sucking water back. Then sucked the same water backwards at the end of the job.

Leaving down town seattle at rush hour with an "off-site" and 1.5 hours worth of traffic! I WILL find somewhere. Its like a covert military operation. Dump & Run! Get the hard $hit at the yard!!

TooTall,  when you suck back from the barrel, is the reduser and drop still on?

i dont think i quite get it when you say suck back from the barrel you primed into. got any pic? ive heard wash&ca are harsher for concrete/cement/water run off disposal then bc.
