After talking with the company that owns the pump that flipped over in Hollywood Ca, i have submitted to their request to take the video off ConcretePumping.com for the time being. I am hopping that when things settle down I can put the video back up. I want to be sensitive to the owners, operator and those who were involved. The owners did not threaten me or be anything but nice about it. They are just asking for some time to deal with this tragedy. I hope that this video will someday be used for the good of the Concrete Pumping industry. |

A great start would be post up dated safety guidlines within there company. They can hide all they want but public records of osha can't be hidden. |

You post it, take it down, post it again and now it's gone again. What's the point. It's not like everyone on here hasn't seen it or doesn't know about it. Safety is the number 1 problem in the concrete pumping industry so why can't people learn from others mistakes. They can't hide the fact that it happened or that it happened to their company. |

OK well a pump flipped over and there is a video of it happening. Now is takin the video down better for...A) the ENTIRE industry or B) the company who is slightly embarrased to have this happen? It seems to me that removing the video is more detremental than leaving it up.I Understand they called and asked nicely and what ever but seems to me that there is more to be learned by leaving it out there. This is not some thing they are going to be able to get away from.IT HAPPENED Luckily no body was hurt.NOW let the rest of the industry learn from it. |

I agree with you all but if you turned over a pump and you asked me to take it off i would. Does not mean it will be off forever but I can have some compaion for those who could use some. |

If you take something like this down that could help the industry for the sake of shame, then what's the point? Are they more concerned about putting there head in the sand or helping the industry grow threw an unfortunate example!
What is the point of this site if you cant discuss safety and learn and discuss these issues. |

Remember there is most likely an ongoing investigation of this incident, much like the Fla deal.I doubt much will surface for awhile. Second time may say something about the understanding of the t/t type pump. |
