Hi there. I had the same problem and i just fixed it 2 days ago and let me tell you its perfect. Heres the best solution. I think Take out the Clamps where you see the leak coming from, Replace the gasket with a new one. (Now a cool trick) I got this idea from someone on this website but cant remmenber who.. when you about to close it up again put the pipes in order and wrap the joint around with DUCK TAPE and then put the gasket over it along with the clamp. SAFETY TIP : Please dont forget to put the pins back into the clamps! Hope i helped you. Let me know if u need more help. Be safe Tiago40 |

Tiago is right I run a 58 meter only 2 years old and I had a couple problem spots and new gaskets over duck tape or tape over gaskets, plus I use a little grease inside the clamp too. |

Duct tape for me as well. If you use those 'hollow gaskets, you can turn them inside out, slip them on and duct tape your pipe and then silicone the insides and flip them right side out and clamp them up. They will not ever leak, ever. |

GREASE, GREASE AND MORE GREASE. Grease is an operators best friend. Duck tape is also the other great savior. |

Apparently the elbows are not lining up properly for some reason. There might be a wrong length pipe or the elbows might not be "adjusted' properly. The pivot point on the elbows should be attached to the boom by two bolts,24mm I believe. If these bolts are tightened up in the wrong spot the elbows will not ride together as designed.First make sure all of the pipe is the correct length then take a set of elbows off the boom, clean the ends well and set aside.Loosen the two 24mm bolts enough so they are slack, then re-install the two elbows using a solid gasket tightening everything including the 10mm hex clamp bolts. The last thing should be to tighten the 2 24mm bolts, you might have to use a little ingenuity re-installing these bolts. In the past I have left the 24mm bolts out because of mis-alignment,but
i will not tell you to do that |
