dont know about there, but they set some refridgeration units on a walmart not to far from here and the contractor said the chopper was 900 per hour. dont know if there was a minimum or what. i would have thought a crane would have been cheaper on that job. lol. maybe the crane couldnt have reached the middle. |

man that is one kick ass pilot. that bucket came in smoother then some booms ive seen. waste no time getting out of there either. |

Over here in Norway the hourly rate is somewhere around 2000$ with a 300 litre bucket. |

Many years ago (20+) it was said that they got $2500 an hour at the ski areas.I'm sure it hasn't went down. |

They use crane helicopters up here to set the ski towers, unbelievable pilots and I'm sure it isn't cheap! I pumped a lot of the towers once they were set.{line pump} |
