Nothin' like pumping in the pourin' down rain. All for a wopin' 8.5 yards, but work is work, so I really shouldn't complain. Took these in the momentary gap between downpours. |

I'm in washington state on san juan island. thats right, an island 14 miles by 8 miles about 22 miles from the mainland. its a hour long ride on a washington state ferry to get here. I pump in the rain alot. as far as picking up the truck to pump, not if I can help it. the more my rear axles are on the ground, the smoother she pumps, but I don't get that luxzury very often. I work on mainly rural backroads sites. flat ground is hard to come by. I'll put up some pics later that show her really up in the air. get er done, no matter what, long as long as i'm inside my 3 degrees. |

you can't see it from those angles, but my back driver side outrigger was up hill a bit from my tires, and I had to put it all the way out because I had to wash my boom into the truck at the end of the job. Don't like swingin' over the back and into the mixer with a back one short rigged. |

Straight out the back it's not going to make any difference with the 'H' style outriggers. There is no (significant) increased distance between the outrigger foot ant the center of rotation of the turret. But it is a good policy to always extend outriggers none-the-less. Your pump, your call. Safety first. |
