Hi, Apologies if I`m in the wrong place but here looked a good place to try.

My hobby is building 1:24 model trucks and my current build is a concrete pump  (photo attached).

I am ready to begin the boom section but details are thin on the ground and I wondered if anyone could point me in the right direction as to where I could possibly download a schematic diagram of this.

Any help or advice would be much appreciated.          Thank-you.

Do you mean like actual diagrams of different booms for length, shape and what not. If so I pretty sure all the pump manufactures have a working diagram on their websites for differnent booms. All newer things though. Im not sure where to find older equipment.

Looks like your building a 31m Schwing... Only missing the actual pump system on the deck.. The hydro cylinders and that kind of stuff. This would be a dream pump with all that space on the deck ;-) But for the rest GOOD JOB!!

Besides.. These small pumps with only 3 axels normaly don't have the x frame legs on the back.. You would have to go 4 axels to have these kind of rear legs... But again.. If this is your own design than nice job ;-)

Actually Dipstick we have had many of 3 axle pumps with the x style outriggers... Most of Putz's pumps are now x style.. Even the 31z i used to run had x style

Hi Thank-you for the replies and interest.

To be honest, my model isn`t based on any particular vehicle.  I`ve taken all the best bits from the many reference photos I`ve downloaded and if such a vehicle WAS to be built full size it SHOULD do the job (I think Tongue out).

As for my original request for information, I now have received everything that I need to complete the job.

I eMailed Reed pumps and yesterday received a link to their operating manuals.

Arn`t some people and companies great? Laughing
