He must of dipped it in the concrete to stop the flow when hes out of mud. Thats why it looks like an hard end. the hose is the same size.

Whenever I run out of crete I always put it in the mud so it doesn't splatter more than it has to. It's not a double ended hose just has mud on it

Sorry...Pump NOOb, that is a 5" hose ..if you look there is no 5 to 4 reducer....and look at the size of it in the man's hand....definitely 5" ....but, thank God, it is a tip hose.
