About time to ask your wife where she put your Carharts and put some snow-proof on your insulated boots. The cold weather will be here (well maybe not here) any time soon. There is nothing worse than getting caught out pumping and have the weather turn bad... and you with no gear.

Lots and lots of things to do to get you and your machine ready for the cold. The best time to do that is when the weather is still nice. A professional operator is part boy scout (he is always prepared).

When did Noah build the ark?

BEFORE the flood. ;~)

V. Viking,

I grew up in the north central part of the US, in Iowa. It got cold in October - colder in December - and REAL cold in January and February.

Ice fishing, riding sleds on the rivers cold. That is why I live in Georgia. Here it may get below freezing 10 days out of the year and snow once or twice. It is perfect.

I always remember what it was like to be cold and I still have my winter survival gear in my truck. Old lessons learned hard do not fade from the mind. ;~)

Thats so weird , I just put my survival bag together and its ready to go in the pump monday. never know here in CA. we dont get snow or as cold temps. as some of the folks here on the board. but I cant stand wet soggy clothing or boots, when we get our bursts of rain . have a safe week, and dont forget that deck can get pretty slick. I always change the wipers too !
