Well here in Ontario it has finally been raining more regular now I have been on this site doing walls and of course they put the dirt in front with a steep ramp and say set up on that and as you try to tell them why you should not some other trades who knows nothing has put in his 2 cents  anyway well today they called for wicked weather high winds  possible tornados down pours, great pumping weather....lol

So I block off the road again and I bring out my hose and this mixer guy asks what I am doing so I tell him I am washing  the mud off the road where my pads will sit  and a buffer zone he scratchs his head a bit walks away. So fine I do my prep wash to the ashpalt then threw down some sand for a bit of grit and then laid some thin wood on it and even though I was pumping over the front put down some dunnage  just for some extra security. The road was sloped and it could rain hard anytime so when I set up I was all leveled out and ready I then have a tap on my shoulder what you doing and I explained to this guy about the prep you never get a second chance to F... up the first time.

Anyway Pumping away the wind picks up and some guy in a tri axle comes slidding down the mud covered road not fast but you know the big fat tires slidding right for the pump.... and then stops well as it turns out I have seen these cowboy truck drivers before so about 15 feet away on the up hill from the pump I washed a 8 foot section of mud off the road from side to side, just because of idiots like this and because of this he could stop. I walk up to him and said what the ........... you doing mud, rain, hill, are ....... stupid I said if i did not do this you would have hit my pump and it would have cost you huge..... no reply

Anyway the moral to this is we may think ahead but most people dont C.Y.A. and when there are idiots on site C.Y.A. and theres to because they are to stupid to....
