according to the concrete company its always the pump, and according to the pump company its always the mix. Been that why for ever. No one wants the blame. What kind of mix can't you pump? |

my ball pump never lies but my swing tube has never pluged, it will allways be a reducer or too small of a line for the rock size or content like exposed mix will not go down a 2.5 inch line. only had a boney mix that i regected i could not put it through my 2.3 inch wash hook but the company wanted the customer to pay for the load. |

My old standard reply was" If the pistons are stroking and the rock valve is shifting, the pump is doing what it is supposed to do! FIX THE MIX" |

Its ALWAYS the mud! I dont care if there's O-rings squirt'n out of the brain! and its 2'' grout hose Thats rule # 1 man, "ITS THE ALWAYS MUD" Dump a bucket-a-sand and a 1/2 bag-a cement in the hopper, mix it in w/ whats already in there and proove it to'em (ha,ha,HA,HA,ha,ha) |

if the pistons are doing full stroke and you are getting max pressure when it blocks there is nothing wrong with the pump.even if you find there is something wrong with the pump still blame it on the concrete |

It's the mix, not the pump, and that's the story I stick to, leaned out garbage is the problem |

Slik pac (generic brand) saved my butt the other day. I ordered 4000 lb mud 3/4" rock .I usually pump 50-50 mix 5.5 bag. This mud wouldn't pump. So I mixed 2 packs with 5 gals water put it in the drum mixed for 3-5 min. Pumped great.. Don't leave home with out it. |
