I'm new to line pumping, owned a telebelt for years. Is that 2 1/2" or 3". just less pressure using those 2 90's off the back rather than rubber? do you water wash from your pump or use air? Thanks Terry |

Even with the surge chamber you still get a little kick so the way you are doing that its put a lot of strain on you manifold you should always use rubber first then switch over to steel one day before long you will unstand my thinking when your manifold has a crack in it.
Crete you need to worry about 2 1/2 inch hose as your biggest size, I have been line pumping for 5 years and have been pulgged many time but they are getting fewer these day no your mix designs and demand them from the supplyer or walk away. |

Thats why I like running my Trailer . I just put it in 2nd or 3rd gear and I get no kick at all. Heres a picture of the job I was on Thursday.. I had a loose fitting that I found too. Luckily I had some oil soaks to catch it! as you can see I used a 90, then 5 to 4, 4 to 3. Like I said I never use hose of the back. |

me personally as long as its 350ft or less i just put enough water in to fill up the cylinders and a 2x4 to hold the reducer off the assend up to keep the water in the hopper till ready to prime. and as for washout just good ol h20,but if im doing shotcrete and i have the compressor with me ill use air and a sponge |

100 feet or less on the prime and I use a bag of "design mortar mix". It's something that the local lumber yard sells and it works well. One bag split between two five gallon buckets. Works every time. 100' to 150' depends on the topography, slump requested, and how the concrete has to be placed. Anything over 150' to 250' its two full bags split between 4 five gallon buckets primed in two shots. In other words I'll prime the first 120', then prime the next 120'. 250' plus and it's play it by ear. |
