I’m doing a business plan and I would like to know how much concrete is used in the average 3000 square foot home and how much you would charge to pump a house like that. I know you price probably varies from job to job but if you could just give me ball park numbers I would really appreciate it. Thank you for you time. |

Cosmo, every house I do is different of course. The plans, the county code, contractor, etc, etc. I am doing a 3500 sq ft house now. I have already been to the job 4 times and I am scheduled to go back for the final pour next week. Average hours on the job on each pour is 4 hours, thats drive time, setup, pump it, washout, drive home. So it will be 5 pours at 4 hours = 20 hours total pump time. Our rate is $140.00 an hour. So their pump charge is $2880 with the thru put charge add another $2.50 per yard. This home is on the side of a hill and has some serious large footings with keyways...it is way over kill on the engineering. so each house is different. There is approx going to be 280 cubic yards of concrete in it....so at our rate of $110 a yard...its getting up their, just over 33k in concrete. derputzmeister |
