Either shopped or he just pulled away from the job-site. You can see the lines across the road only a few hundred feet behind him. On that note however, he probably wouldn't have made it more than a couple hundred feet before toppling... WOW! |

O.M.F.G!! I was ready to call you all stupid for not asuming this was fotoshopped but than I saw the comment that this was here in Norway and though just to check.. And guess what.. It is for real!! Unbelievable. He pulled down some power lines and all. What an idiot.. It must have been stress and probably some contractor or phonecall that disturbed him in his routine but thats not a valid excuse for driving away like this LOL.. Amazing by the way that he came so far without tipping over.. Here is a link to the newspaper for those that understand some Norwegian: http://www.aftenposten.no/nyheter/iriks/Betongbil-sjaforen-glemte-a-senke-pumpearmen-6844934.html |

I ran the article through Google translator just for fun. Here's what I got:
The time was 15.36 Wednesday police notification of a breach of a high-voltage power line over Highway 15 in the municipal.
- A betongbil had driven on the road without the pump arm was put in the correct position. There were queues in both directions and it sparks flew from the damaged pipeline, says operations manager Hans Petter Harlem in New Jersey Police Force bt.no.
According to local newspaper lost a lot of power because of the incident.
Concrete driver realized that he had torn down the power cord, and therefore stopped up. Police, fire brigade and the local force team immediately moved out of place.
The road was kept closed for 40 minutes in connection with a cable break.
- Do you know why the pump arm had been standing up?
- No, I do not know to. Vågsøy sheriff's office will investigate the matter further, says Harlem. |
