I was working in the restaurants and answered an ad that read " Wanted, a young ambitious person to learn the concrete pumping business" The man that placed that add was calling out for me! THANKS BRIAN! Till the day I die I have nothing but good words and respect! Best wishes,

Allen Moore

laboring, carpentering and factory work.after three years of busting my ass on concrete crews with no real income coming in, i decided to make the move to pumps. i have to thank joe mcdonald from cf&t in hayward, ca for taking a chance and putting me on a trailer pump. that really is the only way to get started in this business. put the hose on the ground and learn how to pump the hard way. so that when you graduate to booms you know the first aspect of the job(besides safety of course). in my opinion one shouldn't be learning to pump while also learning to operate.

Bob Hurley ...Juvenile Deliquent, when I wrecked my pickup ,I called my old man for money and he said" be here at 6:00 monday".He put me to work!First day he had me load 150' of 4" hose then unload it when we got to the job! He showed me 1 time how to hook it up,then had me hook and unhook hose ALL damn day! But you know, somehow I knew that this was my ticket! That was April 4 1973,and I've loved it ever since.
