hey PS, so do all concrete booms have to go thru a 6 year total rebuild/inspection in your country ? Or do contractors pick and choose which machines they will do this to ? In My opinion ,it is extremely excessive to do this and very costly to the owners I just dont see the purpose maybe you could help me out on this one.But i do see a purpose of yearly inspections and repairs made to each working boom. |

they boom must be crack tested every 6 years. how much effort is put into this process is up to the owner of the machine. this little one was getting a bit old looking in the paint and needed repairs to the boom so the whole machine was totally refurbished. new electrical system too to sort out some gremlins it had. upwards of 40grand was spent on it. |
