Concrete dispatcher types up directions to jobsite for ready mix driver. They go as follows....

Turn right out plant

Turn left main street

Turn left hull street

go 3 miles and turn right into jobsite.

Job is literally at the most 30 minutes away. Contractor calls an hour later looking for his concrete. Dispatcher tries to reach truck on the radio, no answer. An hour and a half later the ready mix driver shows up back at the yard. The dispatcher asks where have you been? Why aren't you at the job. The ready mix driver says and I quote!! "I couldn't find out plant road"

True story, it happened years ago, but true story.

so he graduated from junior high school, could pass a pee test and could pay the state to sit behind the wheel of a truck. had girlfriends like that, yep they got the hoof.

I dont know about you guys but i know i have done some dumb ass stuff before. Those of you that know me can testify. I am just glad my wife loves me and my kids dont hate me much, lol.

Here is a few of the things I did.

At 18 I put my car in reveres doing 70 miles per hour to see what would happen, I dont recommend it. My dad just gave me a stupid look when I told him what I did.

I burned down my dads gas station when I was 17, I moved a car that was having carburetor work done to it and it blew up.

In high school I hung a BA at one of my teachers and found out that was a no no.

I married the girl that my mom recommended, (Big mistake) Now I have a good wife, been married to her for almost 8 years now. (her only fault is she has poor taste in men)

We all do dumb stuff I am living proof.

Yeah, everyone has brain farts. I plead the fifth though as not to incriminate myself. I thought it was a cute story though.

2001, Topped off the "KOMO" TV building, Had the top-off party. Coats-hats-shirts etc...Then we all went to a Mariners game. Great Time, Lots of fun. I FORGOT MY BOOM! (Placing-boom) Got back from the ball game and my pump looked a lil LIGHT. I was lucky, It was a friday. Had to go back Saturday morning to fly my boom!!
