Sweet Pump. Ironically that boom is a Reich design. So sweet with the Schwing pump kit. |

These are defiantly one of Schwings most unique pumps, one thing to look out for is the brushes on the main that act like a dust cover, but the brushes tend to bunch up and fall apart after some use and are not readily available for reorders. But overall this is an excellent boom and pump.
Good luck |

They are great indoors thats for sure, can do alot of things no other pump can do, but is it really that good of an idea to boom with any type equiptment under powerlines? A good operator can do it safely, but electricity can jump how far? Most ive heard of is 6' but they say it can arc farther. |

So, is nobody going to mention the fact that there are power lines right over head?.. |

In australia we can go within 3 metres of low voltage lines with spotter. We were about 4-5 metres at worst so cant see a problem.Just getting it done. |

If I could pry the controls off the operator of the one in our yard, I maybe could start to get my head around some of the things you can do with these unique machines. |

I ran a 31ht for a while, then we got a new 31ez. The Ez is nice because you have twist knobs instead of buttons. way more control. they ARE amazing machines. I loved to run it but whenever I had a another operator along with me I would always offer the box to them to try it out but most of them were gunshy. |

31ht on 4 axles. Boy ya'll got some strick weight limits down under. They let road trains go real heavy and wont let a pump. Whats the biggest boom you know of there? |

i think there is a couple of 53 sermacs on 5 axle dafs down south and a couple of 52 powercretes in sydney on 5 axle volvo thats about the biggest i no of in oz.The biggest our company runs is a 47 schwing on 4 axle merc. |

most common big pump over here id say is the 61m schwing. Almost all of them are on 7 axle Mack but some are on 6axle Tor. Weighs about 114,000 but I know them road trains you got there are alot more rubber and alot more weight. Wonder why they dont have any bigger booms. |
