Sounds like something we use, very nice to pump, but sets up quickly, so circulate if long between loads. |

I did a 5500 mix, 8 gal super-p per yard very low water content with a rust inhibitor pumping a 5 inch slump. Moved the pump and 30 min after sucking the sponge, the hopper was about hard had to get plastic and dump it there and rake the barrels. pumps good, but doesnt give you any spare time for anything. They also could not add water on job for slump, had to add more super-p. The mud itself stunk like sewer water. |

Well here is how I handle the Plasticizer....Let them do their thing ad the "P" whatever....But if I have more than 5-8 minutes between truck I am headed for the hopper..Even if the next truck shows up..Keep recuculating, get some new in with the old.....Then if you HAVE to move simply explain the Problem with the mud "Flashing" in the hopper and wet the hell out of it ...That will buy you the time you need to get moved with out the Feeling of panic.....If they dont like that suck a sponge and wash out and start all over...Explain to them that this is what is going to happen and you willl be surprised as to what they will let you do to a hopper full of concrete....As stated above it pumps like sausage gravy but it does not last long,MAYBE and I mean MAYBE!!! 30-40 minuts..After that it's over keep on your toes and stay on top of it and you won't have any trouble!! |

I miss all those 500+ days 5000psi super-p, 8" slump. did that just about everyday in Florida. All the high-rise were that way just about. You get used to it. The scary ones are the 4% hi-early when its 90 outside. |

I spoke to ready mix, design is .40 water/cement ratio, with 2.25 pounds fiber 4000psi, will probaly use 40m concord pump also may have to use 2nd hose to lower through joists. |

The job is a new elementary school, this mix will be used on the ground slabs. Most of the steel is up,so I'm sure there will be some system to lay out later. Any suggestions on pumping this mix through system.

hold the last 2 yards so you can have something to keep the mud moving every few minutes, keep good comunication with the batchman. Let it sit still for 15-20 min and your in for a bad day. Stay ontop of you game and hope you do fine. |

biged, ive done pours where there is 'NO' water/or plastiseizer added on site? had a trailer show with his first load to the job and saw we were pumping walls so he throws in two bags of SP7 like a good mixer would to try and get the slump close to a 4". engineer rejected his 12m load. |
