How big of a can of worms is it to recharge the air con. in a Mack? Napa had a real nice kit on clearance so I've already practiced on my pick up and my moms Cadilac which weren't too difficult. I even have a 20 oz. canister of "R134a". Or is it just worth taking it to Mack & spending money we dont quite got? Well not for luxuries like keeping cool anyways. |

I beleive its like a 3-4 pound system just buy the small cans of 134a start the truck, make sure the AC is on and the clutch on the compressor is engaged and plug in the hose and charge it. My 61m uses bout 2-3 cans a month cuz management dont wanna fix it |

Oh if the systems totaly low and the compressor wont kick in ull have 2 jump the 3 wires on the receiver/dryer 2 get it 2 kick it just dont forget 2 hook them back up the right way. the system usualy wont take the freon without the compressor engaged |
