does anyone know the maximum bar that a 2008 47 meter putz with .20 cell will reach before pressuring out? Also what is normal operating pressures for it? obviously different mixes come into play but me, my boss and my co-workers have only run the .16 cell. The truck is new to us and there's differing opinions on both questions. Any input would be helpful. |

Most typical machines at 350+-10Bar. I have seen some varying with lower and some higher. Best bet is machine typeplate affixed to pump chassis it should have the figure printed on it. If you cant find it the user manual datacard with initial test readings will give you all the information you will ever need plus more! Pressure reading at M1 Port. |

20 cell assuming it has 250mm cylnders should give you around 70 Bar max concrete pressure. So it will have a slightly higher pressure reading than a 85 Bar "H" designation like a typical 16 cel. Thats because your machies quest for volume has sacrificed pressure. Cant have both. Normal operating pressure varies greatly on distance conveyed, type of pipeline including size, pipe steel quality & how many bends, cutting ring seal condition, concrete strength, sand, aggregate and slump. You will just have to monitor it and distinguish an easy push and a hard push. |

Heres a silly question: What reads on my remote and gauge. I never really knew if that was BAR or some other pressure reading? |

Is it closer to 200 or 2900? 200 would be bar 2900 would be psi |

bar is the metric of psi bar x 14.504 = psi psi x 0.06895 = bar all the mobile pumps i have oped have a 350bar/5000psi relief on the main pumps. id do not know if a 20cell is different. |

b_alto delivery pressure at the delivery piston head. (hydraulic pressure while pumping divided by maximum allowable hydraulic pressure) x maximum theoretical delivery pressure |

Your 20 cell does put 85 bar on the material and should pressure out at 360bar but look on your hyd schematic to know for shure. I would follow the same guidelines for your 20 that you use on your 16 cell sometimes you will be running at 250-275 bar but in my mind that's hard on the machine. But with that said some times it happens. What I say is that machine will pay your mortgage and bills for a long time and make a lot of coustomers happy then they will call you back the next time. beat on it and the probably goes up for it letting you down at the most in opportune time. That's just my advice take it or leave it:) |
