Well things are picking up a bit around the country. I see movement. We had to hire another full time guy to help with installs and training of Pump Magic users.

We have over 40 ads looking for operators.

I have heard of new pump orders.

Maybe things are getting a bit better.

This would be great. Are the Pump orders from US or Canada.? Do you know?

Just keep the glass half full. Talking to most markets everyone is saying about the same. Have some work, no getting paid for work if we have it, If they have work not sure if there is work ahead after this job, Companies feel like they are getting busier but then they have shrunk down the size of the man power by big numbers and a lot of areas the guys are only getting 25 to 30 hours a week.

Love to hear from around the country on whats happening in your area.

Hope for the best for everyone.

Well I can say this it probably depends on the area your in.....arizona or florida....forget it....i gotta buddy who moved out to south carolina last year and hes pretty busy....i just got a job in the midwest and it looks to be busy....I think the boom days of the past our long gone but it would probably be better for nice and steady than boom and bust

Houston has been busy for about a year now. Probably average about 50-55hrs a week sometimes more. Working 6 days a week and even the occasional Sunday. Commercial has been good and now residential is really starting to pick up big time. Hope it goes that way for the rest of the country. Lord knows we need it. Stay vertical my friends.

Yea guys. Pretty much what we are hearing. Pockets of stuff here and there. Notheast is slow, Florida, AZ, Cali. Not so great.

Hard to judge from the news as it is an election year and the dems are saying things are great out there with Car manufactures like GM, Ford and Chrysler doing great and in the black. But oh. They forgot to mention the tens of billions they still owe the government in the bail out. Does that still qualify for in the Black? While our pump and equipment manufactures are selling out and or starving? They got 10's of billions in Government Bail out money and most does not have to be paid back. They still get bonus's, GM is giving bonus to workers as well but 10's of billions in our tax money is left on the table. ?????How does this work when we are in such bad shape in our industry.???

If you are busy. Do not bitch about the little things where you work. As long as you are safe and getting your paycheck. If slow. We need to pray and hope together for us all to get back on board. I just cannot figure out how many guys are staying a float with little or no work.

Just wish the best for everyone out there.

I would like to say things have been very steady in Canada and especially in the western part of canada we have been getting normal hours and things look to take off here with spring shortly around the corner. I am hoping for another great year for us and all the guys in the industry
