job tomarrow at local land-fill. there putting generators in to provide power they will run off the gas produced by the buried garbage.  how much power will be provided to whom, I don't know

a local dump has replaced its motors with two cat G3520 they are twenty cyclinder units and will power 4000 homes. the gas gets cleaned through a scrubber, methane is 97% productive compared to wind that is 35-40%

Didn't get much info while there. there setting up to power 6 moters with methane. supposably.. landfill produces enough gas to power 5 currently full time and gas producion continues to increase.
